Count on It

“Counting 101 is a prerequisite for this class?”
Jerry suddenly understood the repercussions of playing hookey in kindergarten.

Globules of sweat beaded on Pat’s brow as she counted her fingers. What a poor substitute for the calculator her teacher had confiscated!

Miss Euclid had always dreamed of discovering a math prodigy. Clearly, it wouldn’t be happening this year.

Thanks to Pat, Jerry and all teachers, who have worked to educate and inspire our children.

This one is in memory of Jerry Nelson (July 10, 1934 – August 23, 2012), voice of Sesame Street’s beloved Count.
