For 10 years, they’d lived so close, but never met ‘til they spent a frigid night in a store lot, waiting for the Black Friday sale to open.
Sue grinned as she rode by in a packed sleigh. She’d ripped the last SliceDice from her hands and tripped him as he raced towards the toys.

Two robust thugs waited around the bend for the sleigh.

On Easter morning, we awoke to overflowing baskets. The Bunny knows us well, so our loot included plenty of jelly beans. Not ordinary jelly beans, but Jelly Belly beans. The Jelly Belly history dates back to 1869 when the Goelitz brothers came to the US and started a candy factory. But it was almost one hundred years before they began to produce jelly beans. Ronald Reagan became a fan while he was Governor of California and they traveled with him to the White House. Yesterday was National Pancake day.  Hope you enjoyed some.  If not, it's never too late.  This versatile food tastes great and costs little to make.  That's reason enough to celebrate in the current economy.   We frequently enjoy them as an evening meal.  My granddaughter calls it "breakfast for supper".  Give it a try.
