Sibling Rivalry

Once again, Kong had gotten the biggest banana.  

It was tough being the oldest. When Mama found squashed banana on the patio, King knew he’d get the blame. 

Kong was a cute kid, but that was just another generic gorilla butt and not his most attractive side.

That lump of banana had stuck in his throat. Would King ever stop daydreaming and perform the Heimlich Maneuver? 

This week’s word was generic.

On Easter morning, we awoke to overflowing baskets. The Bunny knows us well, so our loot included plenty of jelly beans. Not ordinary jelly beans, but Jelly Belly beans. Yesterday was National Pancake day.  Hope you enjoyed some.  If not, it's never too late.  This versatile food tastes great and costs little to make.  That's reason enough to celebrate in the current economy.   We frequently enjoy them as an evening meal.  My granddaughter calls it "breakfast for supper".  Give it a try.
